Ronald E. Weinberg
Mr. Weinberg is currently a director of Weinberg & Bell group.
Mr. Weinberg is also currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hawk Corporation (HWK on the American Stock Exchange), a $230 million manufacturer of specialized components used in the aerospace, industrial and specialty markets.
Mr. Weinberg, a well known leader in the Cleveland business community, has over 34 year of experience in the ownership and management of operating companies. He began his career at a major Wall Street Investment Banking firm.
Previously, Mr. Weinberg served as Chairman of New West Eyeworks, a 160 store chain of retail optical stores serving the Western portion of the United States. He also served as Chairman and CEO of SunMedia Corp., a publisher of 46 suburban weekly newspapers.
Ronald Weinberg received a B.A. in science from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Daniel M. Bell
Mr. Bell is currently a managing director of Weinberg & Bell group.
Prior to this Mr. Bell was General Manager of the Mexican and Central American/Caribbean region for the Kroll-O’Gara Company, the global-leader in business intelligence, investigations, and commercial and military mobile security.
Before joining Kroll-O’Gara, Mr. Bell was President of Usamex Trading Corporation, an export/Import company he founded in 1989. During his tenure, the company became the market-leader in the importation of advanced industrial coating in the Mexican marketplace for RPM, Inc., a $2 billion specialty chemicals company. During this time, Mr., Bell successfully managed the company during the most difficult economic period in Mexico’s modern history.
Daniel Bell is a graduate of The National Law Center at the George Washington University and is licensed to practice law in the States of California and Ohio. Prior to law school, Mr. Bell graduated cum laude with honors from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science. Mr. Bell is fluent in Spanish.

Ronald “Chip” Weinberg is a managing director in The Weinberg & Bell Group, joining a year after its formation.
Prior to Weinberg & Bell, Mr. Weinberg was President of New Channel Direct, a full service mailing and marketing company based in Brunswick, Ohio, and Managing Director of Global Acquisitions and Business development for Hawk Corporation. At Hawk, Mr. Weinberg was responsible for the successful completion of 6 different acquisitions, substantially adding to the company’s sales and profitability. Mr. Weinberg was also responsible for building the Company’s first manufacturing facility in China.
Prior to joining Hawk, Mr. Weinberg was an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Ohio under the term of Attorney General Lee Fisher and worked for the law firm of Kohrman, Jackson, Krantz LLP as a corporate attorney focusing on mergers, acquisitions and securities law.
Ronald E. Weinberg Jr. graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois with a B.A. in Philosophy and received his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas. At Southern Methodist University, Mr. Weinberg served as the Associate Senior Editor of the International Law Journal. |
